Due to a recent family issue I needed to visit the area and was spoilt for choice , having read plenty of reviews I chose Paignton court I’m glad I did . The hotel is just up the road from the beach & harbour it has a large car park is spotlessly clean and my breakfast was excellent. Paul & Hayley are very friendly hosts and made my stay very enjoyable thank you both 😊

We all enjoy our annual outings to Paignton Court. It has now been 10years since our first “outing”, and we get the same if not “enhanced” service/greeting every time. Hayley & Paul give such a warm welcome/service you can actually relax and enjoy the holiday. To us they are no longer proprietor’s but very, very good friends. We intend to continue holidaying at the hotel for many years to come.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Paignton Court hotel.We were there to attend a family funeral which was close by. The hotel was extremely clean, the food was delicious and there was plenty of it, too.Hayley and Paul couldn't do enough for us and were very pleasant at all timesWe fully intend to return if we possibly can.

If your looking for a place to stay in Paignton I can highly recommend this good clean place, ten mins walk from town beach and bus/railway stations on level ground, also off road parking, lovely breakfast with lots of choice, been several times before and will go again, 👍🏼😊

Paignton Court was a well located hotel handy for harbour and all amenities but still quiet area. The hotel was spotlessly clean with daily room service and freshly prepared breakfast. The hosts were very pleasant and considerate.

This was our third time staying at this accommodation within the last twelve months.Five nights stay each time.My wife and I had a wonderful stay. This was the 2nd time we had stayed at the Paignton Court tbis year, again staying for 4 nights. Paul greeted us on arrival and kindly helped with our bags.Our room was lovely as was the breakfast. Short break for 7 ageing adult men, been coming to this marvellous hotel for 10 years now. Hayley & Paul are the best hoteliers that I/we have encountered. Service is outstanding, pricing very competitive, food excellent and nothing is too much trouble. I would like to think we have become close friends now. We will never look elsewhere for accommodation unless they retire. See you in March.

I had a really lovely stay at Paignton Court. Paul and Hayley were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really lovely - so much choice. I opted for the full English, which was more than enough!Also, evening snacks were available, which were useful, being a single woman and maybe not confident to venture out in the evening.Everything was immaculately clean. There was a most helpful and informative book in my room; places to visit, things to do etc. If you needed any information about travel around the area, Paul and Hayley would help you.I would definitely recommend Paignton Court to my friends and family. We were looking for a short break and came across this gem. How glad we did! The hotel and the room were exactly as advertised. Our room better than expected. It had a superking bed which was comfortable. Two bedside tables, full wardrobe, dressing table with plenty of room for hot drink making facilities. Two small comfortable modern armchairs. This still left room to move around - no shoved up against a wall or squeezed in here ! The ensuite was small but again reasonable. Shower cubicle, sink and toilet. I did find the towels were larger than usual for this price range which was nice. The decor was modern. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The same for the whole place. The terms are B & B and the breakfast was outstanding. The choice was excellent and the portions very generous. Freshly cooked and well presented and service with a smile ! The dining room was large for the number of rooms with plenty of space between tables. It is also the lounge .There is a reasonably stocked bar which is open from 6pm. There is also a bar snack menu available which looked ok but we didn't use this. A small outside terrace area and a conservatory room both comfortably furnished were pleasant areas to sit. Again, spotlessly clean. Paul and Hayley were excellent friendly hosts . Excellent experience and outstanding value for money. I would recommend.

Hayley and Paul are fantastic hosts, they are friendly and welcoming with a good sense of humour and from the moment you arrive nothing is too much trouble.They run an immaculately kept hotel, it is spotless and well maintained.The full English breakfast is a delicious extravaganza with countless choices all cooked fresh with top quality produce. They have a prime location close to all public transport and ample car parking.We were sad to leave and cannot wait to return and we will definitely recommend highly to everyone we know.

I arrived early and was met In reception by Hayley. She was very friendly and showed me to my room straight away. Room was very clean and perfect for my needs. Breakfast times were staggered so no overcrowding,the choice of food was excellent and it was well cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We were warmly greeted by Paul and shown to our room, which was very clean and tidy.Breakfasts were lovely, staff were very friendly, as we're the other guests.During our stay we had trouble with our motorcycle. We booked it in to the local garage. We were met by Paul as we entered the pieasant clean bright entrance We signed in and was directed to our room. We where immediately taken a backBy the size of the room on inspection it was so clean and imaculate the furniture and fittings where of a very high quality. The breakfast and all the meals were top quality. Inthe evening we retired to the bar which was very well stocked we stayed in most evenings being looked after by Paul and Hayley we would return without question with free large car park and 5 minutes from the seafront or town

Great location close to the sea front and other local attractions. Lovely hosts. The room we had was very clean and well presented, a good quantity of tea and coffee etc. A great plus was the on-site parking, made it very convenient if you did not wish to use your car. The breakfast menus was brilliant, a range of options to choose from. Would definitely stay heard again.

This was our second stay at Paignton Court, a short 4 night break - the hotel is in a great location for all the local amenities, shops, sea front, restaurants and more. The hotel is very comfortable, clean with an excellent breakfast menu, off street parking is available and Hayley & Paul are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely recommend a stay here and no doubt we will return in the future.

We are recently back from a lovely 4 night stay here (26th to 30th June). We were greeted by Paul and Hayley's daughter,who kindly allowed us to check in early.Room 7 was lovely,plus it was on the ground floor which was a bonus.Breakfast was delicious every morning with a wide variety of items on offer.Paul and Hayley were brilliant hosts , the house also being immaculate throughout. Plenty of off road parking,plus very convenient for all that Paignton has to offer as well as public transport. We plan to come back next year all being well.Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The exterior of the Hotel is welcoming even as one approaches. This is underlined by the hosts Paul & Hayley. The interior is immaculately clean and absolutely nothing phased the hosts. They were extremely helpful, particularly towards my wife who has mobility issues. We felt as though we had known them as friends for years. The breakfasts were very good and the bar snacks menu varied.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Paul, Hayley and Caroline were excellent hosts at this friendly hotel. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are very comfortable with enough storage room for several days. The car park is a great bonus although the hotel is well located for bus and train routes to other resorts. We loved it!

Once again came to stay with Paul &Hayley, our room no 2 had new furniture which was of a high standard. Super comfy bed in a lovely clean room. Arrived late so swiftly checked in by Paul and dropped bags of in room and down to the bar for a lovely drink with the fellow guests and the hosts, noticed that they had all new comfortable chairs in the bar/ dining room and around the hotel, It’s lovely to sit and chat and have a laugh whilst having a drink or two. Breakfast next morning was fantastic with a large variety of cooked and cold. We were only here for 3 nights due to work commitments, so we were sorry to leave yesterday. Roy is already counting down to his next stay in August. We enjoy it so much we now call it our HAPPY PLACE. You will not in our minds find a better hotel in Torbay. This was a real find when looking for somewhere to stay in Paignton. The room was comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was delicious with a good choice of menu. The off road car parking was a bonus and the location was central for anywhere you wanted to go in Torbay. Steam railway around the corner and impressive coastal bus service running every 10 minutes. Delightful hosts, will definitely stay again.

Wanted to revisit Paignton after a few years away and choose Paignton Court because it is close to the Town and Harbour, but got so much more than that. Such a wonderful place to stay with hosts Paul and Hayley more than friendly spending time with their guests in the bar every evening. Rooms tastefully decorated and very comfortable and breakfast faultless. Have booked already for a short break early 2023 with other guests we met during our stay.

Our room was lovely, well decorated and spotless.Paignton Court is a lovely Victorian House and very comfortable.Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice and excellent friendly service.There is a bar and a choice of hot and cold snacks in the early evening, which we enjoyed.Good central location and within easy walking distance of seafront, harbour, steam railway and the town.Really enjoyable stay and will book again.

We had a lovely weeks stay, the room was very comfortable, lovely big bed. Breakfast lovely, plenty to eat. Hayley and Paul very knowledgeable of places to visit and where to eat. We will certainly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable hotel. On site parking for 15 cars with security cameras, which is very important to us.

Thank you for being the perfect hotel. These days it is very difficult to find ‘the best place’ especially in the UK! We had a lovely 3 days(2nights) with a fantastic breakfast with what we call ‘proper bacon’ not wafer thin rubbish!The bar was very friendly and it was nice to meet such lovely people. This is a must to stay of ever you are in the Torbay area. Only 5 mins walk to the sea front and quaint harbour . Thank you Paul and Hayley.

My mum and dad recommanded paighton court to me for a week away with my fiancee. It was our first time at Paighton Court and we really enjoyed our stay. We recently spent a short break at the Paignton Court. It was the first time that we had visited, and we were not disappointed. Paul and Hayley are great hosts, very welcoming, making sure that everyone is involved and enjoying their stay. Breakfast was very nice, and the room was comfortable.We often have long weekends in the West Country, as it is not far from us in Bristol. Having seen a couple of our "regular" hotels close down recently, we have been looking for somewhere to make a new "regular", and this fits the bill nicely. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

The outside of Paignton Court is immaculate, every bit as lovely as its picturewith beautiful flowers, plenty of parking spaces. Only a short walk to beach, shops & pubs. Couldn't find fault with the interior either, the whole place was tastefully decorated. Our room was spotless, lovely fresh white cotton bedding & towels, comfy bed & pillows, ensuite with a good shower flow. Tea coffee facilities, TV, even a hair dryer. If you don't feel like going out of a night you can always eat in & use the bar downstairs, their food is very tasty. Recently stayed at Paignton Court for 4 nights which was in a word brilliant. We were warmly welcomed by Hayley as soon as we arrived and we were given the keys to a massive room with an enormous bed,loads of natural light, immaculately presented but most of all lovely and clean. Hayley and Paul take pride in what they do and to be honest put a lot of the more expensive hotel rooms to shame. Now to the breakfast. The latest you can have breakfast is 9am so good if you fancy a lie in. The first morning i had the Full English which was delicious and with a varied menu covers even the most discerning pallets. Sadly i wasn't very well for a few days so missed breakfast but my wife said it was lovely. The hotel has a varied bar which closes at 11pm but we didn't get to use it but if you wish to eat out or go for a drink there are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. On the whole a lovely place run by lovely people at a reasonable rate. So if you fancy going to Paignton i would definitely recommend staying at Paignton Court. We shall definitely be going back. From the minute we were greeted by Paul I knew it was going to be a great stay.The room was adequate and comfortable (small double) and a fan was available which was a good job as it was the hottest week of the year!Breakfast was offered at allotted times which you could choose and there was an excellent choice of fresh food cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble.Evening bar snacks were also available and we ate in the first evening but already had other plans for the rest of our stay otherwise we would have eaten in again.If you are visiting Paignton or nearby, you won’t go wrong with this lovely guest house.Thank you Paul, Hayley and your staff for your excellent hospitality and I hope to stay with you again one day.

There was a good selection of fruit and cereals for breakfast every morning and the cooked breakfast was delicious and of a good quality. This was a great little place. Parking was a priority for us but we had no worries here. The room was a small double but was nice and clean with en-suite shower. The location was excellent and only a short walk to the harbour and town centre. The breakfast was amazing. Haley and Paul were extremely nice and nothing was too much trouble. I travelled from Surrey, with two school friends.All three of us being, being single ladies of a certain age, wanted individual en-suite rooms.We wanted en-site parking too.None of that trundling suit cases from a nearby, cost-a-lot-car park.We were delighted!The breakfast menu was quite extensive, with more than adequate sachets of coffee, tea etc. in our rooms.Paul and Hayley were welconing and helpful and it's certainly one of the nicest 'short breaks' I've had in a long time.I would have no hesitation in re-visiting - hopefully soon!Thank you.

Our second visit, will be returning when we can. Paul makes a fantastic breakfast (as much as you can eat), Hayley keeps the B/B spotless clean. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces to leave the car as everything is in easy reach to beaches for sports etc, ( for us paddle boarding). There are plenty of eating places around, but if you don’t want to go out Hayley will cook for you, nothing istoo much trouble they are there for you when needed, a good Manand Lady team.

A lovely placeto stay, this little gem is within walking distance to the town & beach which are literally just minutes away. I have been staying here for at least 8 years now for a 2 night break. The service is excellent. Paul & Hayley are very welcoming and makes the stay worthwhile. Our first time here won't be our last,what a find last room available some reviews moaning about the space, really it was great from start too finish believe me I'm a moaning git.paul upon arrival was great then breakfast wow couldn't believe someone can actually cook a egg,room spotless nothing any trouble even when we had leak on the shower wife's fault 😜 sorted straight awaythen the bar snacks only really curry was too die for and thechilli made some great friends hopefully see them next year,we were there in October there fully booked for Christmas and New year give it a try you won't be disappointed 😀

Absolutely outstanding, rooms very clean and exactly what we required for our short stay. Last visit was 18 months previous due to Covid and Paul & Hayley have done really well to stay in the business. They are perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble to them. We booked for a 4 night stay arriving on the 30th August, however my heart condition decided that the walk to the bus station was a little too far although we did manage it once. The hotel was very nice and the ground floor room was ideal. The location is great for most visitors, near to the railway/bus station andsea front. The decor and rooms are clean and very comfortable, breakfast is the best we have had and well worth there 4 Star rating. A spacious car park which is a bonus at any popular sea side resort. We will certainly be back to spend time with Hayley and Paul when my health improvements permit. Thank you both for your concern, kindness and understanding.

What a wonderful find this hotel was. Lovely rooms, so clean. Friendly staff always with a smile. Hayley and Paul were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast sets you up for the day, everything is available. This wonderful place is so close to the beach, town, amusements, buses and trains. In the evening there is a bar and bar meals which are delicious, such a friendly atmosphere. Cant fault anything its 100% perfect, we will be returning.

Our third visit to Paignton Court, and you just can't find a fault with anything. Paul + Hayley are excellent hosts, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the breakfasts are great! We also ate a couple of evenings in the bar, and the food was lovely.We will be back!

We must say our stay was fantastic, no complaints to make, only praise.Our room and rest of the hotel was spotless, love the way when you go for breakfast in the morning they ask if you need any extras for your room, pillows, towels, tea, milk, sugar etcThe breakfast was amazing, great selection and choice, everything was very hot and freshly cooked, the staff are all very helpful and friendly.Prices in the bar in the evening were very reasonable, lovely friendly atmosphere in there too.Very COVID friendly, masks were worn by all staff all of the time, hand Gel available.Like the free car parking during our whole stay.Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to book, as great locationWould definitely come back againThank youLisa & Martin

Lovely Hotel, it has a spacious sun lounge to relax in and a terrace outside as well. Our room number 2, was of a high standard, with a massive comfy bed, everything was super clean. Breakfast were superb lots to choose from and always served with a smile from either Hayley or the girls.We enjoyed our nights in the bar, everyone was made to feel welcome. You could not ask for better hosts Hayley and Paul, they were super friendly. The hotel is ideally placed for travelling around Torbay. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and in no doubt we will be back next year as this was one of the best holidays I Sandra have had, because of the friendliness of the all the staff, I loved our chats and laughter in the evenings and of course my time with Jazz. Just enjoyed our second stay at Paignton Court Hotel, can not recommend this hotel highly enough, from the minute you arrive, you are made to feel very welcome by the hosts in every possible way. Speaking as a frequent world traveler you soon realise you’ve come to stay somewhere that is quite special. The rooms are spotless and inviting, the hosts attention to detail is obvious, they clearly and quite rightly take pride in their establishment. The breakfast on offer is top quality and served to you always with a smile. The evening bar service gives you no reason to travel beyond their front door, so much so, I traveled home one day and returned back the next day with my wife for a ten day stay. We all had a very enjoyable weeks stay at the Paignton Court and highly recommend it. Its a lovely place in a great location with lovely friendly hosts. The breakfast each day was amazing with very friendly and helpful staff. We would love to return to the Paignton Court.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for seafront,very close to harbour area and rocky fairies cove, and few mins walk other way brings you to funfair/pier area.We could not fault this little gem of a hotel for being spotlessly clean, and very well maintained, rooms were so clean and we were asked at breakfast every morning if needed any clean towels etc, bin bags if put outside door were disposed of and new bag left(covid safety precautions at present).The patio area on the front was lovely to sit out on too,or conservatoryalso, again immaculately clean!.The breakfast was definitely worth a mention, lots to choose from and the service fast,efficient and always with a smile, the girls who work here are a real asset and credit!, thank you guys!.Finally the host's, they work so hard to keep everyone happy on thier holidays, it shows!, the reception book was FULL of lovely comments from everyone and anyone who has stayed here and quite rightly so, from good communication on booking (do it directly!),to checking in quickly and fuss free to always someone being on hand if needed but not 'in your face' as we personally dont like that, so these guys get a huge thumbs up and thanks from us!.To sum up, if you're thinking of a holiday in paignton or as a base to explore south Devon even, you will not be disappointed in booking paignton court!, highly recommended!Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

We have just returned from a three night stay in Paignton Court and we had a brilliant time. Paignton Court is so wonderful in every way from superb cleanliness, Hotel itself beautifully decorated, breakfasts so tasty Hayley, Paul and all the staff are just wonderful. You simply could not find fault at Paignton Court and we cannot wait to visit again. Paul and Hayley the Owners are just so helpful to everyone. We stayed here for a week and loved it.The hosts Paul and Hayley were very welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was lovely and clean and tea coffee milk etc were replenished whenever you needed it.Breakfast was fantastic well presented with great choiceand nothing was too much trouble, including cooking black pudding extra crispy just for my husband ???? the waitress were friendly and very helpful also. There is also a lovely little bar which we used a couple times where Paul makes a great bar man .Would definitely recommend this little gem of a hotel and would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again

This was our second stay at Paington Court Hotel and is was just as wonderful as our first visit. Paul and Hayley are lovely people, made is feel very welcome nothing is to much trouble, the staff are lovely too.The breakfast is amazing cooked to perfection by Paul. They have a bar too which is great because you meet the other guests and it's nice to sit abd relax and just chat abd have a laugh, will definitely being doing a third visit. What a beautiful place to stay. Great location only 5 mins stroll to beach, shops, and train station. Rooms spotlessly clean. As a family of 5 mixed age group me my husband our daughterand my mom and dad lovely clean rooms we hadrooms 2 3 12 plenty of space everything you needed Breakfast was really nice good choice full English cereals fruit tea coffee ect. All cooked really well and what was really nice our daughter could enjoy breakfast as well being gluten free skimmed milk as wellreally enjoyed Hotel was lovely and clean lovely out door space tables chairsumbrella great to sit out side for a drink with friends or chillor nice space inside to there is a menu for afternoon snacks a bar so you are alsorted if you don't feel like going farcar park well all I can say is thank you to Hayley and paul and staff for a lovely week and all the hard work due to Covid changes we no how diffcult it has been for you but you have cracked itfor us we had a lovely family week and we will see you soon hodson and williams family?????????????

I had an amazing stay, hosts are friendly, welcoming and make you feel relaxed. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious, with a great choice and nothing is too much trouble. Travelling on my own I was a bit nervous to use the bar however there was no need everyone was chatting and joining in. Drinks are also reasonably priced. I am looking forward to returning again soon.
